Dajiang released the agricultural plant MG-1S, acknowledging that it is a beginner, but intelligent flight control is an advantage.

After a lapse of 8 months, Dajiang once again released a new product in the field of agricultural drones - MG-1S. Before introducing the new products, Dafan, the public relations director of Dajiang, handed over the transcripts of MG-1.

MG-1 sold more than 2,500 units in the first half of the year, accounting for 70% of domestic sales. How did you come up with this number? Wang Fan said frankly that there is no third-party data, which is his own calculation.

At the beginning of the year, when the products were first launched, third-party figures showed that the number of agricultural drones used in the country was around 2,350, and by the middle and late November, the number had increased to 6,000, an increase of about 3,600, while the sales volume of Dajiang was 2,500. More than one.

For the lack of third-party data, Wang Fan believes that this shows from the side that the domestic agricultural drone industry is still in its infancy.

At present, the penetration rate of agricultural drones in the domestic market is not high, only 1%-2%. In order to enter the agricultural drone field more smoothly, Wang Fan proposed four small targets, namely demonstration fields, service points, flying hand training and entrepreneurial support. After 8 months, MG-1 has a working area of more than 10 million mu, and its operations are mainly concentrated in Heilongjiang, Xinjiang, Hunan, Hubei, Henan, and Jiangsu; more than 200 service points have been established; more than 600 flying hands Graduates; the WeChat public account was opened for agricultural drones, mainly for the plant protection team to share the guidance experience, to provide demand docking, online for 3 months, a total of more than 200 plant protection teams settled.

Cao Nan, the global sales director of DJI, joked that in order to fulfill the promise, the team of less than 10 people was doubled at first, such as walking on thin ice, and finally completed the task excessively, and did a user satisfaction survey when busy. The survey results show that the operational satisfaction of MG-1 is 87%, while the satisfaction of guiding flight stability is only 75%. On this basis, the MG-1S made a series of upgrades and the price was reduced to 42,000 yuan.

MG-1S joined the A3 flight control of Dajiang Intelligent Brain Platform. For the environment-aware system, a high-precision millimeter-wave radar is placed on the front side, rear side and bottom of the MG-1S. The front and rear squint radars can detect the terrain in advance and combine the down-view radar to accurately set the height. Through uninterrupted scanning, the MG-1S can sense the topographic changes in the flight direction in advance, and adjust the flight height according to the terrain and crop height in time to achieve simulated flight and ensure uniform spraying.

The MG-1S remote control has been redesigned with a 5.5-inch 1080p high-brightness display. The remote control has built-in high-precision GPS. The flying hand can use the remote control to set the waypoints, plan the working area, identify obstacles, and increase the life time of the remote control to 5 hours.

According to the site introduction, using the intelligent planning operation system in the remote control, the MG-1S can automatically plan the operation route and support the flying hand to modify the flight path. The system also supports the linkage design of the spray parameters, which can easily set the amount of the acre; Two kinds of spray modes, strong settlement, can meet the needs of different working environments.

The sensor placed at the bottom of the medicine box can detect the stock of the medicine, and inform the user in advance to choose whether to interrupt the route for dosing. When the medicine is used up, the MG-1S will automatically stop working and fly back to the return point according to the set autonomous or manual mode; after adding the medicine, the MG-1S can return to the interrupted coordinate point with one key to continue the operation.

After half a year of testing the water, in addition to the lack of its own machinery, Dajiang also found that insufficient funds is an important reason for the agricultural drone market to be pushed. So launched a series of financial services projects. Cooperate with Zhongan Insurance and Agriculture Sub-Stage to launch the phased purchase service of agricultural plant protection machine. Cooperate with the installment to provide the interest-free installment payment service of UTC Huifei UAV Training School.

In addition, Dajiang will cooperate with the agricultural gold circle to provide farmers with “plant protection service installment payment” support. Farmers can apply for the plant protection team to fly through the plant protection insurance service through the distributors of the agricultural gold circle, and pay the service fee in installments. In addition to financial services, Dajiang also cooperated with Suning and farmland butlers in agricultural plant protection.

Dajiang is a consumer drone, and the agricultural market has many differences with the aerial market. In the face of doubts, Cao Nan explained, “We are indeed beginners in agriculture, but we are constantly adjusting our strategies to achieve strategic goals, and will continue to play the advantage of DJI in intelligent operations.”
