Note on the use of the travel switch

The travel switch, also called the master switch, converts the mechanical signal into an electrical signal to control the travel of the moving parts. Commonly used travel switches are available in both rolling and direct versions.

1. The rolling type travel switch has two sets of contacts inside, one set is a normally open contact and the other set is a normally closed contact. When the retaining iron on the moving part is pressed onto the rolling wheel of the travel switch, the driving bar rotates together with the rotating shaft, and the adjusting screw inside the travel switch is pressed to make the micro switch act, the normally open contact is closed, and the normally closed contact is changed. In order to open the circuit, when the moving part presses the contact of the travel switch, the power of the control moving part is cut off, so that it stops moving or continues to move in the opposite direction; when the stop iron leaves the travel switch, the travel switch is automatically reset. This type of travel switch is mostly used for the up and down and left and right limit of the workshop, and can also be used for automatic round trip.

2. Direct-acting stroke switch The working principle of the micro-switch is the same as that of the stroke switch, and the internal contact principle is also the same.

3. The problem that the travel switch should pay attention to during use

(1) When installing the travel switch, check whether the retaining iron can collide with the travel switch head when it is in position, and must not collide in the middle of the travel switch or other parts.

(2) When installing or when checking the stroke switch, fix it firmly, and use your hand to toggle or press the stroke switch action head, listen carefully to the sound, check if there is a “beep” sound, if not, open the stroke Switch to adjust the screw that connects the micro switch to the action shaft.
