【Symptom】

【Cause Analysis】

Through the disassemble analysis, the ESD energy is transmitted from the electrostatic gun to the magnetic head through the copper foil, and then transmitted to the magnetic head rail through the parasitic parameters, and then interferes with the whole system. After comparative analysis, the line indicated by the blue box in the following figure If the cable is unplugged, the problem can be solved. The cable can be placed on the PCB and fixed with the art adhesive tape. The problem can be solved. For this reason, we need to find the ESD sensitive signal in the cable. After comparison, we found that two of the signals are compared. Weak, after adding TVS can also solve the problem.

【Rectification program】

Taking into account the production and cost, we do not need to change the version, that is, the board cable can be fixed on the SAM board with the art adhesive tape to solve the problem. Therefore, we adopt the method of adding art adhesive tape.

In the design process, you should minimize the electrostatic air coupling, such as directly changing the inter-board cable to the inter-board connector, and keeping the connector away from the ESD-generating area, and placing the other side, unhappy!

If this cable cannot be moved, and it must be prevented because of assembly problems, then the filtering of sensitive signals between the boards should be added at the beginning of the design! ~
