After the founding of New China, he served as a member of the China Architecture Society, a member of the China Urban and Rural Planning Committee and a member of the Architectural Creation Committee, a deputy director of the Architectural Textbook Review Committee of the Higher Industrial School, a vice chairman of the Guangzhou Architectural Society, and an engineering engineer of the Guangzhou Air Defense Committee.
