Up to now, LED street lights have reached 26,285 盏, accounting for 59.38% of the total number of street lamps in Weifang.

It is understood that at the end of 2006, Beihai Road (Health Street to Xuanwu Street) in Weifang City used LED light source for the first time in road lighting. In July 2007, the municipal government proposed in the form of a special meeting minutes: the installation and replacement of street lamps within the three development zones of Fan Kuiwen, Yucheng, Fangzi, Hanting, Gaoxin, Economic and Binhai must use LED light source. . In the same year, large-scale promotion and use began in the urban area. All new roads use LED light sources. At the same time, it is planned to replace the traditional light sources in the central city in two years. Up to now, there are a total of 44,265 functional lighting street lamps in the urban area, including 26,285 LED street lights, with a device rate of 59.38%. In the next step, the city will continue to increase the number of LED street lights. By the end of 2010, the installation rate of urban LED street lights will reach 100%.
