LEDtronics has introduced a simple alternative to the MR16 LED bulb series: the high power 3 watt LED MR16 bulb.
These new 3 watt MR16 bulbs have two advantages over other MR16 bulbs. First, they can operate at various voltages, eliminating potential burnouts due to voltages above the lamp's acceptance.
Second, the new 3 watt MR16 bulb does not require the storage of multiple LED MR16 bulbs to coordinate with different 12 volt AC/DC--24 VDC supply voltages, simplifying the procurement and stocking process.
The high-power 3 watt LED MR16 bulb has the following features; the dual-tip pedestal is like a standard MR16 bulb, consuming only 2.6 watts of light output at 12 volts to 102.9 lumens, and consuming 3.7 watts of light output at 12 volts to 120.6 lumens. And 24 volts DC consumes only 3.8 watts of light output to reach 140.7 lumens.
