Industrial control system refers to the general term for automation technology tools (including automatic measuring instruments and control devices) for measuring and controlling industrial production processes and their electromechanical equipment and process equipment. Industrial automation system products can generally be divided into the following categories:

(1) Programmable controller (PLC): It can be divided into large PLC (input and output points >1024), medium PLC (input and output points 256~1024) and small PLC (input and output points <256 points) according to function and scale. .

(2) Distributed Control System (DCS): Also known as distributed control system, it can be divided into multi-level hierarchical distributed control system, small and medium-sized distributed control system and two-level distributed control system according to function and scale.

(3) Industrial PC: PC that can adapt to the harsh environment of the industry, equipped with various process input and output interface boards to form an industrial computer. In recent years, there have been PCI bus industrial computers.
